Hey tumblr. Did the majority of this, several months ago, but the day before yesterday it went viral and the TD editor had to go on 98FM drunk and several people got mad at me for not being negative enough, which kind of misses the point, and a lad I haven’t seen since school added me on Facebook after his Canadian friend showed it to him.

It was awesome to have a chance to write such a comprehensive love letter to a city I’m way more into than I should be, and it was even more awesome to hear that emigrants (who would obviously not have seen it in print) liked it. Nothing I do from now on in my life will ever be as popular as this was.
